Rapper Lil Wayne charged for being in possession of firearms

Lil Wayne is currently confronting another government weapon charge which could see him spend quite a while in jail whenever indicted.

TMZ detailed that the American rapper is being accused of 1 tally of ownership of a gun and ammo by a sentenced criminal by the U.S. Lawyer for the Southern District of Florida.

Lil Wayne who was sentenced for a lawful offense firearm charge in New York in 2009, faces as long as 10 years in jail whenever indicted.

The charge comes from a December 2019 episode in which a private plane shipping Wayne from California to Florida was looked by government specialists at Miami-Opa locka Executive Airport.

As indicated by the Miami Herald, Miami-Dade Police cautioned government specialists of the plane subsequent to getting a tip that weapons and cannabis were possibly being shipped by the airplane. The pursuit was apparently led with agents from the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and different offices.
